Come visit us and step into our tea embassy!
As we expand the types and brands of teas we carry, we keep discovering great things we want to bring to you. This process led us to The Republic of Tea. What started as a few flavors for us to test turned into dedicating a whole section of the store to their teas! As mentioned in The Republic of Tea’s “About Us” page, being a “retail outlet” offering this brand’s teas to you grants us the title of “Embassy”!
What does our embassy offer you?
Across the teas in tins from The Republic of Tea we now carry, there are a few brand staples we appreciate. The tea is sourced from “the most prized tea gardens of the world” in countries including China, India, Japan, Kenya, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam as discussed on the “About Us” page. Moreover, the packaging from The Republic of Tea takes sustainability into account, as mentioned in “The Environment” page, and each tea bag is circular and stringless in an effort to reduce waste.
Do be careful when handling them around water because these teas are not individually packaged. You may find yourself making a larger cup of tea than expected (this advice is, indeed, given from experience(s)).
The packaging truly is lovely, however. And the tea it holds inside is excellent. We’ve scoped out some blends we know you’ll enjoy!
Some Stand-Outs
Decaf Ginger Peach: Enjoy a Georgia-esque black tea without all the caffeine! No skimping on peach flavor either!

Hibiscus Beet Ginger: Opens with an almost kombucha-fermented smell, but tastes floral and sweet and brews a deep magenta color. It is also part of The Republic of Tea’s “SuperDigest Tea” catalog, so the digestive benefits shown on the tin may tag along with each cuppa!

Burnout Blocker with Chaga and Cordyceps: To me, this tea smells like candied sweet potatoes, but it definitely has its own delicious cinnamon-heavy taste. It represents part of the “SuperAdapt Tea” catalog for the go-get-’em boost mentioned on the tin. It also offers an alternative to caffeine-generated energy (stay tuned for a post going more in-depth about this caffeine alternative!).

Blueberry Lavender Tea: A pretty blue-indigo tea with lots of floral and fruity flavor and not a bit of caffeine! It is one of the “Beautifying Botanicals” teas, and may be helpful in keeping up collagen levels and other good things for your skin as shown on the tin.
